The friendly staff and exceptional breakfast made for a delightful stay. While the room was well-appointed and featured a spacious bathroom, it lacked air conditioning and had a somewhat restrictive low ceiling layout. The breakfast setup, resembling a buffet, felt a bit cramped with limited seating, which could lead to some inconvenience during peak times.

Couple getaway, do it!
We really enjoyed our time, especially when we found that we could pick our breakfast from the kitchen. I liked carrying my tray to the dining area, it felt more casual and homey.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Had a fantastic getaway with friends! The breakfast spread was awesome, and we often spent our afternoons playing board games in the lounging area. We also took a lovely walk to Ambleside Pier and enjoyed hiking at Orrest Head. The location made it so easy to explore the area, and the warm atmosphere just made our stay even better.
The shower in our room could've been better. It didn't drain well, and that was a bit annoying while getting ready in the morning.

Moss Grove impressed me right from the start. The central location made it easy to explore the village. My executive double room was spacious, featuring comfortable furnishings and a lovely seating area. The bed felt incredibly inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed the free WiFi, which was reliable throughout my stay. The highlight was definitely the breakfast. It had a delightful variety, showcasing quality local ingredients. I appreciated the setup, although it did feel a bit unconventional walking into the kitchen to help myself. On the flip side, the bathroom door design lacks privacy, which I found a bit awkward. the parking situation could use improvement. spots were limited. The staff were mostly friendly but could have been more attentive during busy breakfast times. I'd consider returning for another stay despite these minor hiccups.

The room was spacious and bright, highlighting a super comfy bed. I loved the bathroom, which had a jacuzzi and a separate shower. There was a small balcony too, perfect for morning coffee! Only downside was the lack of hooks for coats, especially since the area is about hiking and muddy boots.
